When I wrote this, I thought the term was "average frustrated creep". I didn't realize it was "average frustrated CHUMP". I got it from researching the PUA movement which was covered prominently in the media at the time I wrote the song.

At some point during the Bush 43 years, a lanky geek in Lenny Kravitz wardrobe had the nerve to call himself "Mystery", claimed he could teach guys how to pick up women, yet somehow still got his own VH-1 show. Amazing.

I believe they're called "incels" now and no one claims to teach them anything.

In the final analysis, women have their own individual goals: to find true love, to pursue their ambitions, to be left alone, to have the finer things in life, or to be choked during sex just to feel again.
