This was recorded on the church's 2-track machine. Because I never got to record it properly, I decided to release this version. That glitch you hear near the end of the recording is the 2-track malfunctioning.

When I wrote this, I pictured not singing it at all but having a child do it instead. Add up my inability to find a child singer and the problems with the overall sessions and this particular recording (the glitch) and that I'm singing to myself... the fucked-up-titude of this song and recording made me not want to release it for a long time. So I didn't put it out for about five years.

It probably would have been weirder to have a child sing these lyrics, now that I think about it.
