about

I wrote this song in Bowling Green, Kentucky long before I ever left for LA, when I was deep in my Beach Boys phase. The Beach Boys have an album, "Holland", which was released in the early '70s. I imagined a Brian Wilson song about Holland. Later on I took the lyrics and melody and put it to one of Ian and Colin's beats.

Yes, the coo-coo's were part of the song all along. It was inspired by Brian Wilson, why wouldn't they be there?
